Overview
Fannin County Family Connection’s Food Pantry proudly serves individuals and families in Fannin County, GA and Polk County, TN. Whether you need support occasionally or on a regular basis, our pantry is here to help.
In addition to providing food, our facility offers a variety of services and resources designed to support individuals and families in our community. The Food Pantry is managed by Kayla Ballew.
How the Pantry Works
Our Food Pantry is open Monday – Thursday from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM.
When you arrive, you’ll be welcomed by our volunteers and asked to complete a brief form so we can better serve your needs. From there, you can browse our pantry shelves and produce sections while our team prepares additional essential items for you to take home.
Homeless Day Services
Our facility also serves as a resource center for individuals in need of a safe and supportive space.
Available services include:
- Showers for those without access to facilities
- A fully equipped kitchen to prepare a warm meal
- Laundry access with washers and dryers
- One-on-one support from a Resource Coordinator for guidance and assistance
Clothing Closet
Our Food Pantry also includes a community clothing closet with donated items available at no cost.
Visitors are welcome Monday – Thursday to browse clothing for all ages and styles. We also provide socks, shoes, and new undergarments.
Extended Hours
To better serve those who cannot visit during regular hours, the pantry is open late on the second Wednesday of each month until 6:30 PM.
Community Partners & Resources
We also partner with local organizations and service providers who visit the pantry to offer additional support.

FAQs
How often can I visit the pantry?
Individuals can visit the food pantry every 28 days. Families with small children and seniors in our community can visit our pantry every 21 days.
What do I need to do to sign up for the pantry?
Nothing at all – just bring yourself! Upon arrival we ask that you fill out a small form; you can then receive food from our pantry. Clients must be from either Fannin or Polk County to qualify for our services.
How do I volunteer?
We’re glad you asked! The best way to get started is by filling out our Volunteer form, and a member of our team will be in touch. You’re also welcome to call us at 706-632-6063 with any questions.
What donations do you accept?
We accept gently used clothing items, shoes, and hygiene items for all ages (Undergarments must be new & unopened). We also accept food donations; We do not accept household appliances or furniture. If you are unsure you can call our office at 706-632-6063
How often can I come in for the clothes closet?
Our clothing closet is open Monday – Thursday and you can come in as often as you want for clothing items.
What are the qualifications to use the Homeless Day Services?
Just bring yourself, fill out our pantry forms and sign out the services you intend to utilize.
Will you deliver food to me?
Yes, we absolutely will if you do not have any form of transformation available.
