    Help us make sure every child in our community has a warm coat this winter! Fannin County Family Connection is partnering with The Citizen Newspaper, United Community Bank, Kevin Panter Insurance, and Buck Bald Brewing to provide new and gently used coats to local children and families in need. Donations are being collected now through October 28. New coats are especially needed, but gently used coats in good condition are also welcome. As an added thank-you, those who donate a new coat can receive a discounted subscription to The Citizen Newspaper. Coat Distribution & Volunteer Opportunities The coat distribution will take place November 2–5, and volunteers are needed each day to help distribute coats to local families. Volunteer shifts: 10:00 AM–12:00 PM 1:00–3:00 PM 3:00–6:00 PM Sign up here Whether you donate a coat or volunteer your time, you can help make sure a child stays warm this winter.
