Team

Mandi Hyde began her work with Fannin County Family Connection (FCFC) in 2007 as an AmeriCorps member, serving in that role for three years. In 2011, she was hired as a part-time employee, working as the office clerk and bookkeeper. In 2017, she became a full-time employee and was promoted to Administrative Assistant.

Originally from the DeKalb and Rockdale County areas, Mandi moved to Fannin County with her husband in 2005. They have one child, who is now 19 years old.

Mandi enjoys helping individuals and families connect with the resources and support they need. She finds great fulfillment in making a positive difference in the community and serving the residents of Fannin County through her work with Family Connection.

Madelyn Queen brings several years of marketing experience and a strong passion for the field to Family Connection, where she supports the organization’s mission of strengthening families and communities.

In her role, she manages the brand voice across social media platforms, coordinates event details with the team, and helps grow Family Connection’s marketing efforts while building meaningful relationships with local businesses and community partners across North Georgia to better support the families they serve.

Madelyn is dedicated to making a positive impact through her work and in the community.

John Schickinger serves as a part-time Resource Coordinator, helping individuals and families connect with the tools and support they need. He assists clients with obtaining IDs, job searches, resume development, interview preparation, certifications, career guidance, and connections to community resources.

John is known for his patience, dedication, and ability to adapt as new needs arise, making him an invaluable part of the team and a trusted resource for those he serves.
